Rivet stud

Rivet stud is a screw rivet, the base of which is riveted into the workpiece material. For installation, a rivet tool with a nut attachment is used. The screw rivet works on the same principle as the conventional screw. The lower part is deformed forming a head from the back side of the workpiece. The rivet studs is used to create an external threaded connection on thin metal sheets. It is convenient to use if welding can not be used. To install a rivet stud you need a manual or pneumohydraulic riveting tool.
